The movie was shot at the same time that the 27-year-old's marriage to soon-to-be-ex-husband Russell Brand was crumbling, and, in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Perry admits to struggling with how to present the breakup on the big screen. Ultimately she simply stayed true to herself.
