From showing up to sporting events, to spreading school spirit the new cheer coaches are supporting the cheerleaders in every way imaginable.
They want the cheerleaders to reach their full potential and help others reach their potential too.
?It`s fun to be involved in activities again,?Donna Harris said.? ?I`m really enjoying all the cheerleaders,?
Last year`s head coach Reagan Coffey is not coaching this year because she took a job teaching math at Lakes High School. Even though last year is different from this year,? the coaches are trying to combine them to make the change easier on everyone.
?Change is hard for some people but change is also good, I am open to the cheerleaders` opinion and try to keep school traditions,? Shana Biggs said.
Biggs and Harris are voicing their new ideas to promote school spirit better.
?I think that all of their new ideas will help promote school spirit because we haven?t really had any new spirit ideas and getting? these ideas is refreshing,? senior Sara Fiksdal said.
Harris is busy making sure that this is the best year ever by keeping a positive attitude and making sure everyones happy.
?I think everyone is excited about the new school year and making it the best year ever because that?s what its all about,? Harris said.
Fiksdal is also trying to make the other sports teams benefit too.
?I think that it will benefit other sports teams because its good to get other peoples prespective,? Fiksdal said.
